Pioneer DJ XDJ-1000MK2 Multiplayer

The USB-only device has has an upgrade.

Pioneer DJ has announced the latest version of its USB-only multiplayer, the XDJ-1000MK2.

The XDJ-1000MK2, which resembles Pioneer's CDJs (but without a CD drive), contains a few updates that have been adopted from the CDJ-2000NXS2 line. As well as a 7-inch colour high-res touch screen, it's now possible to play FLAC and ALAC files, while a couple of other features—Track Filter and Matching—are geared towards making track selection easier. It's also possible to integrate Pioneer's DDJ-SP1 controller with the XDJ-1000MK2, using the controller's pads for multiplayer features like its eight hot cues.
